Nicholé Velásquez
Born Upper East Side, NYC, 16 Aug 1986. Nicholé Velásquez was introduced to Art under the direction of Rika Burnham at the Metropolitain Museum of Art, and later at the Frick Collection.
2005, Nicholé Velásquez sold his first work at a special charity exhibition curated by Annie Leibovitz. Annie Leibovitz bought his work. (> The City)
2006, Nicholé Velásquez was the youngest recipient of the JB Fellowship to study documentary photography at the International Centre for Photography in New York.
2007, Nicholé Velásquez did his first solo exhibition at Art Concept in Stockholm, Sweden.
2009, The Gitana Rosa Gallery of New York presented Nicholé Velásquez to Art Basel Miami.
